What to expect on a full day kayaking tour
Pasley Island Discovery and Howe Sound Explorer guided tours depart at 10am and return around 4pm. The Pasley Island Sunset tour starts 6 hours before sunset, so the timing changes throughout the season. For all of these guided kayak tours advance reservations are required. The tours are suitable for paddlers aged 13+, prior kayaking experience is recommended.
Our experienced guides will give you an amazing experience touring the inlets, islands and beaches around Bowen Island. Kayaking is great exercise and an amazing way to enjoy time on the ocean and get close to nature. On each full day tour we will find a beach to stop and eat around halfway through before paddling onwards. Bring a pack lunch from home or purchase one from our neighbours on Bowen Island.
On our kayak tours we regularly see Sea Lions, Seals, Bald Eagles, Otters, Sea Stars and even Whales! All our full day tours are limited to 6 guests guaranteeing you a personal experience. Full day kayak tours normally involve between 12km and 18km of paddling.
Pasley Island Discovery Tour
Our flagship Pasley Island Discovery Tours depart from Tunstall Bay throughout the season. This kayaking tour is suitable for paddlers with some experience in a kayak. During the Summer months the ocean tends to be calm and guests can enjoy the spectacular views of the Pasley Islands. In Spring and Fall this tour is perfect for more experienced paddlers looking for an exhilarating paddle in dynamic conditions.

Howe Sound Discovery Tour
Departing from Snug Cove, the Howe Sound Discovery Tour is the perfect choice for guests looking for an unforgettable adventure. Paddling the east coast of Bowen Island we are blessed with the company of the snow-capped North Shore Mountains. Our route takes us North to Finisterre Island before finding a picturesque beach for lunch. Depending upon conditions we may cross to Bowyer Island, paddling close to the mountains before swinging back towards Bowen Island.

Pasley Island Sunset Tour
Our Pasley Island Sunset Kayaking Tours run from the west side of Bowen Island, launching at Tunstall Bay. The tour takes in the magnificent coastline of Bowen Island before crossing to the Pasley Islands. When we return to Tunstall Bay we will turn to watch as the sun drops over the Pasley Isles, with the sky full of colour. Your guide can drive you each way from Snug Cove if needed, please let us know at time of booking!
