Full Moon Tour – 2.5 hrs

The full moon rising over Cypress Mountain is spectacular. On a clear night moonlight shimmers on the water illuminating the surrounding shoreline. These views are best seen from a kayak away from city lights.

This special tour is only offered on evenings closest to the full moon.

The time we launch from the dock for this tour varies by time of moonrise (see Details tab).  We will contact you to confirm what time you need to be at the dock for your specific tour.  If you need to catch the ferry to Horseshoe Bay, we guarantee your return in time for the last crossing. 

This tour runs for 2.5 hours and is suitable for all skill levels. Families are welcome. We meet at the kayak shop in Snug Cove. 

Remember, temperatures will start to drop as the sun goes down, so dress appropriately.

Two person min., $94 + GST each, advance reservation required.

• Change of clothing
• Warm day: Synthetic board shorts, hiking shorts, t-shirts
• Cold day: Synthetic layers, long sleeve shirt, long pants
• Light weight wind and/or rain jacket
• Water bottle
• Snacks
• Waterproof case or ziplock bag for cell phone, camera, valuables
• Neoprene booties, watershoes, or running shoes

Personal items like a change of clothes can be left at the kayak shop.

Tips are always appreciated by our guides and dock staff. If desired, gratuity can be added to your reservation in advance,  paid at the shop or given as cash ~ Thank you!
