With FOUR weeks to choose from, families can plan camp around their summers, instead of the other way around. For kids ages 8-12, Bowen Island Sea Kayaking Summer Camp is a great deal: fun, new skills, new friends and increased confidence await. Laughter and delight are served daily as the participants explore Bowen Island’s rugged shoreline while paddling in a ‘chariot race,’ maneuvering through an obstacle course, or playing games.
Details:
- Summer Camp starts in July and runs Monday – Friday from 9:30am until 3:30pm.
- Chaperoned transportation between Horseshoe Bay and Snug Cove is available. Drop off at Horseshoe Bay terminal 8:30-8:45am. Pick up at Horseshoe Bay terminal around 4:20pm.
- The camper to instructor ratio is 5:1 ensuring safe, personal attention.
- Our certified staff ensure proper instruction and safety both on and off the water.
- This 5-day program is a fantastic introduction to the water and marine life in our backyard.
Kids come from all over the Lower Mainland for kayak camp, so sign up early to reserve a spot. The five-day session is $520+GST.

Online Registration
- Select your preferred Monday start date from the calendar below.
- Indicate the number of children who will attend.
- Complete the registration form including the child’s name and age.
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration. The final payment will be due 30 days before camp begins.
